The digital fiber optical repeater is a new and intelligent solution for signal coverage enhancement. The system is consisted of Main Unit (MU)and Remote Unit (RU). The MU is designed to couple with BTS directly, or with antenna and signal amplifier to acquire signal source. 1 set of fiber optical amplifier contains 1 unit of MU and support up to 4 units of RUs. The MU converts the RF signal from BTS to digital light signal and transfer the light signal to RUs. The RU then converts the light signal to RF signal and enhance it for signal coverage.
